Dr. Denise Bannister is an Internal Medicine Specialist in Richardson, TX and has over 28 years of experience in the medical field.  She is a native Texan and grew up in Houston, Texas.  Dr. Bannister graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch - Galveston medical school.  

She practices a preventative approach to healthcare believing that patients can maintain a healthy and active quality of life by being proactive in preventing illness and disease.  She is passionate about working alongside patients to maintain good health habits and practices at the same time as managing patient’s chronic conditions.

Dr. Bannister is affiliated with Methodist Richardson Medical Center and is a member of the ACO managed by UT Southwestern and Texas Health Resources.  She previously served as Chief of Staff and Department Chair for Internal Medicine at Richardson Regional Medical Center.  She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Bannister is married to Dr. Paul Bannister, also a native Texan and they have 4 daughters.  She loves her dogs, cooking and family time.
