Happy New Year!

We hope this message finds you and your family healthy and well!

At this time of year, we like to start preparing for the coming new year with a few tips to help us keep you in tip-top shape.

Please help us keep your medications filled timely.  We realize that insurance may dictate when and how you receive your medications so please update your pharmacy information.  This includes confirming your current pharmacy and eliminating all old pharmacies to avoid sending prescriptions to the wrong location.  You may update pharmacy information via the patient portal, via USPS mail or by calling the office at 972-498-8670.

Refills of medication must be requested via your pharmacy.  Processing refills via the pharmacy is an electronic process that allows us to fill prescriptions quickly.  Should this option not be possible, you may request refills via the patient portal but allow at least 72 hours for a response.

Annual visits should be scheduled and kept routinely.  These types of visits are booking 3-4 months in advance and are unable to be accommodated in a shorter time frame.  Please make sure that we have your annual physical scheduled at this time.

Update your information.  We will be confirming your demographic and insurance information at each visit.  Additionally, we will scan your ID and insurance card upon your first visit every year.  This year we will also be updating our contact information forms as well.

This year our office will be going fume free!  Please refrain from wearing heavy cologne, perfume, hair spray, soaps or lotions.  Many of our patients experience allergies that may be aggravated by heavy fumes.  We thank you in advance for being considerate of your fellow patients.

Covid Testing options.  While we don’t do Covid testing in our office, we do have a few options for you to get testing done, outside of your local pharmacy.

Drive thru location – Spring Valley Road at Lingco Drive.  East side of I-75 after Sherman Street and before Greenville Avenue.  There is no way to contact them.  Open 7 days a week 9a–6p, Monday through Friday and 9a–4p Saturday and Sunday.

Drive thru location – Richardson Square in front of Shoe Carnival.  Plano Road between Spring Valley Road and Belt Line Road.  There is no way to contact them.  Open 7 days a week 9a–6p, Monday through Friday and 9a–4p Saturday and Sunday.
